Contribute to your community with science! Join TPWD’s Texas Nature Trackers Biologist Craig Hensley for a workshop focused on iNaturalist. Learn about the app to contribute to your own knowledge as well as meaningful observations for science and conservation. Following the training, we will head outdoors to practice your new skills on the grounds of Mitchell Lake.

Please be sure to download the iNaturalist app to your phone and set up your account prior to the beginning of the workshop. Be sure to bring water and a bag lunch.

This workshop, led by Craig Hensley (Texas Parks and Wildlife Department), covers the basics of iNaturalist. A citizen science program, we will learn how to contribute and why it is an important tool in conservation.
