Join us this September for an engaging and hands-on Seed Paper Craft Workshop! This unique program combines creativity with environmental stewardship, offering you the chance to make your own paper embedded with native wildflower seeds. Perfect for gardeners and nature enthusiasts, this workshop will guide you through the process of crafting biodegradable paper that, when laid in your garden, will decompose and plant beautiful wildflowers. This workshop is best suited for adults, with activities for ages 6+. Eligible for SAWS Watersaver Rewards.   

What You'll Learn: 

Paper-Making Process: Discover the art of making your own paper from recycled materials. Our step-by-step demonstration will cover everything from preparing the pulp to shaping and drying the paper. 

Seed Integration: Learn how to incorporate native wildflower seeds into your handmade paper. We will provide a variety of seeds suitable for local climates, ensuring your creations will thrive and enhance your garden. 

Garden Benefits: Gain insights into the environmental benefits of planting native plants. Our presentation will cover how native wildflowers support local ecosystems, attract pollinators, and contribute to biodiversity. 

Materials Provided: All necessary materials for paper-making and seeds will be supplied. Feel free to bring any recycled paper scraps you’d like to use.
